H.I.G. verkauft die ICG Group

H.I.G. ("H.I.G.") hat die ICG Group an die SPIE Group verkauft, den europäischen Marktführer im Bereich der multitechnischen Dienstleistungen. Das Management von ICG bleibt bestehen und wird weiterhin die zukünftige Entwicklung des Unternehmens vorantreiben. Die Transaktion unterliegt der Genehmigung durch die Kartellbehörden.
Die ICG Group wurde 2021 zunächst mit H.I.G.'s Plattforminvestition in Infratech gestartet, das komplexe FTTx-Netzwerke im Auftrag von öffentlichen und privaten deutschen Netzwerkbetreibern aufbaut. ICG hat anschließend comcross erworben, einen der führenden Dienstleister für mobile Telekommunikationsinfrastruktur in Deutschland. Das Segment der Mobilkommunikation wurde durch die Ergänzungsakquisitionen von ICG in den Telekommunikationslösungsanbietern Schwan und TripleA sowie dem Telekommunikationsnetzwerkplaner DPE weiterentwickelt.
Heute beschäftigt ICG mehr als 700 Mitarbeiter an 16 Standorten in Deutschland sowie in den Niederlanden und Kroatien. Das Unternehmen hat mehr als 15.000 Mobilfunkstandorte errichtet, über 15.000 Kilometer Glasfaserleitungen verlegt und mehr als 100.000 Haushalte an das Glasfasernetz angeschlossen ("Homes Passed"). Der Umsatz von ICG hat sich während der Eigentumszeit von H.I.G. vervierfacht.
